Log Cabin Days is a favorite festival in Pikeville held the 4th weekend in May. It showcases the labor of love that Don McBay and family have put into moving old log cabin treasures from the region to prevent them from further demise. The event will showcase 40-50 vendors, arts, crafts, quilting, demonstrations, food, and fun. Sponsored by the Artist Hands of the Sequatchie Territory (A.H.O.S.T.) with 3-4,000 visitors expected. Mountaineer Folk Festival is an authentic annual mountain
festival which takes place the first weekend in September at Fall Creek Falls State Park. This is an amazing folk festival with over 100 handmade arts and craft booths, including pioneer demonstrations, craft demonstrations, an assortment of foods, breads and baked goods, and live mountain music in three areas of the park. Music includes country, bluegrass, folk, and some picking and playing under the shade trees by musicians from the region and all over the Southeast.
