Log Cabin Days
is a favorite festival in Pikeville held the 4th weekend in May. It showcases the labor of love that Don McBay and family have put into moving old log cabin treasures from the region to prevent them from further demise. The May 22-23 event will showcase 40-50 vendors, arts, crafts, quilting, demonstrations, food, and fun. Sponsored by the Artist Hands of the Sequatchie Territory (A.H.O.S.T.) with 3-4,000 visitors expected. Loud Bikes and Bibles aren’t usually considered a popular combination But the two will go together on Saturday, August 7th on the West Lawn of Security Federal in downtown McMinnville at 5:30 pm.

The theme for the night is “Taking Church Outside of Church” Chris McDaniel, formerly of Confederate Railroad will be providing the music. Admission is free, food and beverage vendors will be available.  Should be an awesome time for Harley Riders and other Bikers to gather for music and the word.

Mountaineer Folk Festival
is an authentic annual mountain
festival which takes place the first weekend in September at Fall Creek Falls State Park. This is an amazing folk festival with over 100 handmade arts and craft booths, including pioneer demonstrations, craft
demonstrations, an assortment of foods, breads and baked goods, and live mountain music in three areas of the park. Music includes country, bluegrass, folk, and some picking and playing under the shade trees by musicians from the region and all over the Southeast. (read article)

The Bledsoe Heritage Festival is held the first weekend of October each year. Come join in the parades. Listen to the music. Enjoy all the food, crafts, art, fashion show, hay rides, and more. Old time period attire is optional, but adds to the experience. Children’s activities abound on Friday. Sunday will feature a church program and gospel music.
